This year many automobile companies presented to public attention the concepts in which their point of view on the future of electric cars robots is reflected. At the beginning of a year the Mercedes company presented the first the intriguing concept F 015, and Italdesign Giugiaro became one of the brightest concepts presented later on the Geneva motor show. A little the known company Chevrolet lagged behind in this case, but now they corrected this situation, having presented the point of view on future cars. Them "the futuristic capsule" of FNR is concentration of forms, technologies and innovative ideas of the next generation. Within a concept of FNR all obligatory elements of design of the independent car of the future, the huge digital dashboard, a hi-tech windshield, huge salon with the rotating seats and many other things are collected.

FNR concept form repeats the form which became already traditional for futuristic cars "drops on wheels" a little. However, designers of the Chevrolet company departed from the standard norms and kept more or less traditional configuration of forward and back part of the car thanks to what FNR nevertheless remains similar to the ordinary car, getting under definitions "aggressive and prompt". Some automobile technologies of the next generation are embodied in a concept of FNR. The car by means of electric motors which is built in directly wheels which have no traditional nave moves and keep on a magnetic suspension bracket, charging of batteries of the car is made only by means of wireless technologies. Their car of the future, according to designers of Chevrolet, will have no traditional keys, and identification of the driver will be carried out by means of the analysis of drawing of a retina of an eye or other biometric methods.
An off-duty police officer, familiar with radar guns, drove through a school zone within the legal speed limit when the flash of a camera went off, taking a picture of his license plate. The officer, thinking the radar was in error, drove by again; even more slowly. Another flash. He did it again for a third time, at an even slower speed. Same result. "This guy must have screwed up the settings," the off-duty officer thought. A few weeks later, when he received the violations in the mail, he discovered three traffic tickets: Each for not wearing a seat belt!

Having taken the wheel of the car, the driver can choose the movement in the manual or automatic mode. Movement in the automatic mode is provided with the data collected by the mass of sensors, chambers and the radar established on a roof which allow to receive the fullest picture of a state of environment. As the illuminants lighting a way ahead of and behind the car light sources on highly effective solid-state lasers are used. The concept of FNR was developed by specialists of the Technical automobile center GM Pan Asia Technical Automotive Center which is settling down in Shanghai, and creation of full-size model of this conceptual car was dated for opening of the Shanghai motor show. Of course, FNR is no more than a beautiful and unusual concept which hardly sometime will appear on roads in its original form. But some of its technologies will be embodied in reality, in designs of Chevrolet cars robots which will enter the market within the next two-three years.
